"Networking in the Middle – CANTON is a regional networking event for young professionals from across Northeast Ohio. The event will take place March 5, 2009, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Canton Museum of Art, 1001 Market Avenue North, Canton. This, the fifth Networking in the Middle event, will feature food and drink, entertainment and activities, as well as an opportunity to experience the Japanese blockbuster exhibit, Kimono as Art: The Landscapes of Itchiku Kubota, which features forty oversized kimono created by Master Kubota. KIMONO is only visiting two American cities: San Diego and Canton, and may never be back in the United States again. KIMONO closed in San Diego on January 4, where the San Diego Union Tribune's art critic called it one of the two best art shows of 2008. It opens in Canton on Sunday Feb 8, for a 3-month run surrounded by a Japanese cultural celebration featuring more than 80 KIMONO related events.
