City of Green Second Annual Freedom Fest
The City of Green will be hosting their 2nd annual Freedom Fest beginning tonight, Friday June 27th 5-11. It is to be held at the Boettler Park 5300 Massillon Rd. Tonight's event is the Akron Symphony from 7:30-9 ( If we get another storm it will be held at the Chapel)
On
Saturday they are sponsoring a Family Run, 5K, 2 mile or 1 mile fun
run.....they are also having a Green Idol Contest ( I wonder if Ryan
will be there 
) At 3 pm The Remember When Band will play until 6 pm
followed by The Dayna Malow Band at 7:30 until 9 pm. Then my favorite
starts at 9:30 with a patriotic tribute followed by sensational
fireworks! This is a free event and will be lots of fun for all. Hope
